JOSEFINA B. DAVALOS

Funeral for Josefina B. Davalos, a 32-year resident of Marin, will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.

Mrs. Davalos, who was 72, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of Eugene S. Davalos, a former painting contractor, and resided at 74 Yolanda Drive, San Anselmo.

The family moved to Marin 32 years ago from El Paso, Tex. Mrs. Davalos was a native of Juarez, Mexico.

She leaves four daughters and three sons, Mrs. Irene DelValle of Albuquerque, N.M.; Moses R. Davalos, Josephine King and Hector R. Davalos of Novato, Hans M. Davalos of Fairfax, Armida Rambke of San Anselmo and Margarita Hibbs of Petaluma; four sisters, Maria Moguel, Dolores Jaurequi, Maria De Jesus Gutierrez, and Elvira Guerra, all of Mexico; also 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p.m. at Chapel of the Hills. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. The family prefers that tributes be memorial gifts to Marin County Chapter, Kidney Foundation of America.
