ALFRED CRANDALL
Alfred G. Crandall, retired painter of San Anselmo, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. He was 76.
Born and reared in Bottineau, N.D., he lived there and in Westhope, N.D., prior to moving to San Anselmo 34 years ago.
He was a member of Painter’s Local No. 83.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Crandall of the home at 18 Sierra Avenue; two sisters, Mrs. An Kyle and Mrs. A. Larsen and a brother, Willard Crandall, all of Bottineau; and two other brothers, E. W. Crandall of Grand Forks, N.D., and Lloyd Crandall of West Covina, Los Angeles County.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Burial will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
