Frank Barrett, 73, Resident 40 Years
Frank I. Barrett, who moved to San Francisco a year ago after 40 years of residence in San Rafael, died suddenly yesterday in a San Francisco hospital. He was 73 years old.
Barrett, who returned to his native city in August, 1953, from his home on Lincoln avenue, San Rafael, is survived by his wife, Albertine S. Barrett of San Francisco. A practicing attorney in San Francisco until last week, Barrett was active in fraternal organizations in that city and San Rafael.
He was a member of San Rafael Elks Club, 1108, Council No. 615 and St. Francis General Assembly 4th Degree, Knights of Columbus. Until recent years, Barrett was an active hiker in Marin and frequently climbed Mt. Tamalpais with local hiking groups.
Funeral services will take place at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow from the Memorial Chapel of Carew and English, Masonic and Golden Gate avenues, San Francisco. A Requiem High Mass will be recited at St. Vincent de Paul Church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery, San Francisco.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tonight.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions his late brother, John J. Barrett, and says he was the cousin of Sister de Sales of the Holy Family Convent.
