Woman Found Dead At Woodacre Home
Mrs. Winnie Bassett, wife of Dr. G. H. Bassett and mother of Mrs. Hibben of San Francisco, was found dead in her bed at Woodacre April 28 by the daughter who had come from the city to visit her.
The husband was in San Diego at the time. The remains were removed to the F. E. Sawyer Company’s parlors and the funeral was held Monday.
Dr. J. H. Kuser pronounced death due to heart trouble, and it is presumed that it occurred the night before the remains were found.
