Newsboy Killed In Accident
Funeral services will be held this afternoon for Gearhard Zuehlsdorff, 14-year-old San Rafael lad, who died in a San Francisco hospital from injuries received when he was thrown from a bicycle.
The accident occurred, police say, when Edward Sager, 64, of 1062 Ellis Street, struck the lad who was crossing Highway 101 near the San Quentin Wye.
Sager was driving south at the time of the accident. He was not held.
The boy, a freshman at the San Rafael High School, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Zuehlsdorff. He was delivering papers at the time of the accident.
