ALLENE EMBRY
Allene T. (sic) Embry of Corte Madera died Saturday in a San Francisco hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 72.
She had been a stenographer for the state Public Utilities Commission. She was a native of Kentucky and lived in Marin for many years.
She is survived y a son, Leland Embry of Mill Valley; a brother, William Owen Gardner of Phoenix, Ariz., and two grandchildren.
No service was held at Mrs. Embry’s request. The family prefers memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.

A Death Notice appeared in the same paper. It gives her middle initial as G. Her grandchildren were Lisa and Karen Embry of Mill Valley.
