ODIE HUNTSMAN
Funeral for Odie Huntsman of Olema, 50-year resident of West Marin, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
Huntsman, 78, died in a local hospital Monday after a short illness.
He was born in Kentucky.
For 30 years, Huntsman was foreman at the Boyd-Stewart ranch in West Marin.
He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Petaluma Eagles lodge.
His wife, the late Edith Huntsman, served many years as postmistress in Olema, She died in 1968.
Huntsman is survived by his daughter, Virginia Luper, of Olema, and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Olema Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the Hanna Boys Center in Sonoma or Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds the names of his grandchildren, Cheryl and John Luper, and notes that he had many nieces and nephews.
