EDNA GLAHN

Edna P. Glahn, a 71-year resident of Mill Valley, died today at her home following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Glahn, a native of San Francisco, moved to Mill Valley following the 1906 earthquake. Her husband, Fred Glahn, who died in 1927, was an employee of an East Bay creamery.

She worked as a cashier for the MJB Coffee Co. in San Francisco until her retirement.

She was a member of Mill Valley Chapter 219 of t he Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Glahn is survived by two daughters, Virginia George of Mill Valley and Winifred Hewelcke of San Rafael; three granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral will be private. Burial will be at Olivet Memorial Cemetery, Colma. The family prefers memorial contributions to the Peace Lutheran Church in Mill Valley or the Order of the Eastern Star.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Janet Rosevear, Vicki Shimmin of Mill Valley and Cathy Owles of Novato. Family services were under the arrangement of Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel, Mill Valley.
