FRED ANDERSON
Funeral for Fred (Andy) Anderson of Novato will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Redwood Chapel Mortuary, Novato.
Anderson, a 37-year resident of Novato, died in a local hospital Friday after a long illness. He was 74.
Anderson was a native of Sweden. He came to the United States in 1908 and to California 12 years later.
Anderson served in the Air Transport Command during World War II.
He was last employed as the civil engineer at Hamilton Air Force Base.
Anderson was a member of Fairfax Lodge 556 of Free and Accepted Masons, the Marin Rod and Gun Club, the Marin Mutual Benefit Association and the Allegheny Deer Club.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathleen (Tut) Anderson of Novato.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hills, Calif.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Marin, P.O. Box 72, Kentfield, 94904.
