Mrs. Cornelia Gardner Answers Death’s Call
Death claimed Mrs. Cornelia Gardner last night at an Oakland hospital, where she had been confined by illness for the past year. She was of a pioneer family and was the mother of Supervisor Casper J. Gardner and a sister of Mrs. Martha Alison. She would have celebrated her 80th birthday in a short time.
Although complete funeral arrangements have not yet been made, it is given out that services will be held in Oakland, probably Saturday of this week.
