W. HAINES HALL
W. Haines Hall of Kentfield, a 46-year resident of Marin, died in a local hospital yesterday after a long illness. He was 74.
Hall was born in Springfield, Mo. He came to California in 1919 and to Marin County in 1931.
Hall attended the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
A commercial artist, Hall retired 20 years ago. He was a member of the Olympic Club and Bohemian Club in San Francisco.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Hall of Kentfield; two sons, Thomas Hall of San Francisco and Stephen H. Hall of Stinson Beach; a sister, Christine Stevenson of Lubbock, Tex.; and six grandchildren.
Private services have been held. The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
