ELIZABETH NELSON
A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth I. Nelson of San Rafael will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Monica’s Church in San Francisco.
Mrs. Nelson, a four-year resident of San Rafael, died Wednesday at the Greenbrae home of her daughter, Elizabeth Smith. She was 75.
Mrs. Nelson was born in San Francisco and lived there most of her life.
She was a homemaker.
She is also survived by two sons, Ignatius J. Nelson Jr. of Pacifica and Donald Nelson of Fairfax; another daughter, Barbara Wells of Novato; three sisters, Sister M. Helen of San Rafael, Sister Rose de Lima of San Francisco, and Joanna Kerwin of San Francisco;15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Nelson’s husband, Ignatius J. Nelson, died in 1963.
The Rosary will be recited today at 8 p.m. at McAvoy-O’Hara Mortuary, San Francisco. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
