NELLIE PISTOLESI
Nellie Pistolesi of Greenbrae died Saturday at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Pistolesi, a native of London, England, came to California with her family when she was 5. She was reared in San Francisco.
Mrs. Pistolesi and her late husband, Frank V. Pistolesi Sr., at one time operated a summer resort, Camp Pistolesi, near Tomales Bay. He was a real estate broker and member of a pioneer Marin family.
She was a 40-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and was a member of Casimir Chapter No. 252 of San Francisco.
Mrs. Pistolesi had lived in Greenbrae at 201 Via La Paz for the past 11 years. She was an avid gardener and noted for her beautiful garden.
She is survived by her son, Frank V. Pistolesi of Greenbrae.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Williams and Heffernan Mortuary in San Rafael. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Colma.
Friends may call at the mortuary until 10 a.m. tomorrow.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that she was the aunt of Mrs. Mildred Colburn of Corte Madera, Mrs. Arthur Sharmen of Belvedere, George and William Fogarty.
