DORA FORNESS
Dora Marie Forness of San Rafael, a retired restaurateur, died yesterday in her apartment in Martinelli House after a sudden illness. She was 76.
Mrs. Forness was born in New York and lived for many years in Port Allegany, Pa. before coming to California and Marin three years ago.
She and her late husband, E F. Forness, owned and operated the Kitchen Inn in Port Allegany for 32 years, retiring five years ago. Forness, who was an orchestra leader before going into the restaurant business, died in 1972.
Mrs. Forness is survived by a cousin, Robert Little of Kentfield.
At her request, no funeral will be held. Inurnment will be beside her husband in Cuba, N.Y.
