RICHARD P. INGHAM

Richard P. Ingham, a 14- year Marin resident and long-time bartender in the county, died yesterday in a local convalescent hospital after a long illness. He was 80.

Ingham was born in San Francisco. He owned a window shade store there before taking up bartending, which he pursued most of his life.

After living three years in San Anselmo, he moved 11 years ago to 40 Resaca Avenue, Forrest Knolls.

He was a member of Bartenders and Culinary Union Local 126 of Marin.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Phyllis Ingham; two stepchildren, Bruce Benedict of Grass Valley and David Benedict, stationed with the Navy in Norfolk, Va.; and a sister, Helen Ingham.

Private service and private inurnment were to be today.
