Man Killed In Overturned Car
Henry Johnson, 27 years old, and a resident of Sausalito, was instantly killed last Saturday night when an automobile in which he was riding with James Kervaugh of Fairfax, overturned near the junction of the old highway and the Mill Valley road.
It was at first supposed that the Johnson machine was struck by a passing car which sped away, but this was later corrected. The two men were brought to the San Rafael emergency hospital where it was found that Johnson had been dead for some time and that Kervaugh was suffering from slight bruises and contusions. The machine was badly wrecked.
Johnson was a bookbinder by trade and resided with his parents at 650 Locust street. The remains were removed to the morgue here by Coroner J. Ray Keaton and later taken to San Francisco for burial. An inquest will be held by Coroner Keaton.
