CARL BOE
A memorial service for Carl S. Boe of Fairfax, partner in a construction firm until his retirement four years ago, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Christ the Victor Lutheran Church, Fairfax.
Boe, 66, died Thursday at a local hospital after a long illness.
He was born in San Francisco and moved to Marin in 1948, making his home in San Rafael before moving to 15 Park Road, Fairfax.
He worked in the construction business all his life, retiring in 1972 as a partner in Gaither and Boe Construction Co., San Francisco.
Boe was a member of Fairfax Lodge 556, Free and Accepted Masons; Marin Pyramid 31, Egyptian Order of Sciots; San Rafael Local 35, Carpenter’s Union, and Christ the Victor Lutheran Church, Fairfax.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Boe; two daughters, Beverly Vickland of Auburn and Susan Pecota of Calistoga, and five grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Christ the Victor Lutheran Church memorial fund.
