HARRY BRUSE
Harry G. Bruse of Mill Valley, a longtime Marin County resident, died yesterday at a local hospital following a long illness. He was 88.
A native of San Francisco, he lived in Marin for 25 years, largely in San Anselmo. Prior to his retirement, he was a property manager.
He was a veteran of World War I. For 60 years he was a member of the Park-Crocket Lodge No. 139, Free and Accepted Masons, of San Francisco. He was also a member of the San Francisco Consistory, Scottish Rite Bodies of San Francisco, and the Islam Temple Shrine.
Survivors include his daughter, Jackie Brown of Mill Valley, a sister, Elsie Lease of Stockton, and three grandchildren.
Private services were held today, followed by inurnment at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery. The family prefers contributions to charity.
