FANNIE SMITH
Fannie Ann Smith, longtime resident of Novato, died yesterday in a local hospital. She was 73.
Born in Center, Tex., Mrs. Smith moved to Novato 19 years ago. Her husband, Lawrence Smith, is a retired painter.
Other survivors include three daughters, Lafawn Whiteman of Portland, Ore., Wanda Phillips of Petaluma and Geraldine Butler of Novato; a son, Larry Smith of Petaluma and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home, 7078 Redwood Boulevard, Novato. Interment will be private at Bahia Valley Cemetery in Novato. Memorial contributions to the Heart Association are preferred.
