Word has been received here of the death in San Francisco of J. D. Vernon Nichols, whose widow, Julia Cummings Nichols, formerly was a San Rafael girl. He passed away last Monday and the funeral was held today at 2 o’clock. He was 31 years of age and leaves, besides his widow, two children, a boy and a girl.
