John L. Pfeiffer, for many years a resident of this county, passed away here last Saturday at the age of 80 years. He was the father of Mrs. L. D. Windmuller and F. C. Pfeiffer, of Carthage, Mo. He had resided until recently in Novato, where the funeral was held under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company this morning.
