AUSTIN W. LITTLE
Austin W. Little of San Rafael, a former Marin County Grand Jury foreman, died today in his home after a brief illness. He was 78.
Little was born in Oakland. He was the personnel manager of the North Bay division of the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in San Francisco before retiring in 1963.
Little served as grand jury foreman in 1968.
He was active with many Shriner groups and was a member of Fairfax Lodge 556 of Free and Accepted Masons.
Little was also a member of the California Bodies of the Scottish Rite, Islam Temple of the Shrine, Marin Shrine Club and the Marvelous Marin High Twelve Club.
He is survived by his wife, Velma B. Little of San Rafael; three sons, Howard A. Little of Santa Rosa, Robert E. Little of Pleasant Hill and Stanley W. Little of Fairfax; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo under the auspices of the Fairfax Lodge 556 F. & A.M. Inurnment will be private.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in San Francisco or a favorite charity.
