GLENNA SHELBY
Glenna C. Shelby of San Rafael, a member of the Marin County Status of Women Commission, died Saturday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 42.
A native of Oklahoma, she had lived in Marin for the past eight years. She resided at 317 Knight Drive.
Miss Shelby was secretary and finance director for a San Rafael automobile dealership.
She was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Marin County, Marin and San Rafael Chambers of Commerce, and the Third Order of Franciscans.
Miss Shelby is survived by her mother, Dorothy Spies of Roswell, N.M.; a sister, La Donna Parker of Dayton, Ohio, and three brothers, Harold Shelby of Turlock, Richard Shelby of Sacramento and Jerry Shelby of Las Vegas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. Hilary’s Church, Tiburon. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the church.
