MANUEL A. CABRAL
A Mass of Christian Burial for Manuel A. Cabral, a retired gardener, will be offered at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church, Petaluma.
Cabral, 63, died Saturday in a local hospital after a short illness. He spent most of his life in the Azores Islands and moved to California 12 years ago.
Cabral retired from gardening three years ago and moved to Petaluma.
He leaves a son, Manuel C. Cabral of San Jose; a daughter, Maria E. Machado of Petaluma; three brothers, Trajano Cabral of San Jose, Joe A. Silva of Morgan Hill and Joao Cabral of the Azores; three sisters, Sarafina De Rosa of San Jose, Helena Gois of Gustine and a sister in Lisbon, Portugal; and three grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. at Sorensen Mortuary, Petaluma. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
