Funeral Services For Retired Novato Man

Funeral services were held last Saturday for John J. Mahlstedt at his late home in Novato, where he passed away the preceding Thursday.

He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Alice Mahlstedt, and was the brother of Frederick H. Mahlstedt, who died some months ago. He was 67 years of age and a native of Germany. He had lived many years in Novato and had not been actively engaged in business for some time.

The funeral services and interment were under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company. Burial was made in Novato.
