Funeral Services For Former Marin Man

Funeral services were held last Sunday for Bernhard Heilfron, former wealthy Marin county cattle buyer, who was killed Friday night of last week by a speeding auto driver in San Francisco.

Heilfron, well known here, had resided in San Francisco for some time. He was struck as he attempted to cross Van Ness avenue at Hayes street, the driver, after knocking him down, speeding away. The police announced today that when the driver is apprehended a charge of murder will be placed against him.

Heilfron was a member of the San Rafael Lodge of Masons.
