ARMANDO ZIRPOLI
Armando J. Zirpoli of Novato, retired Bank of American vice president, was found dead at his home yesterday by a friend.
Zirpoli, 70, was a native of Denver who came to California 59 years ago. He had lived in Marin 20 years, residing first in Greenbrae before moving to Novato.
He served 46 years with the Bank of America, primarily in San Francisco. At his retirement in 1971 he was vice president and manager of the Columbus Branch of the bank in San Francisco.
His wife, Beverly Zirpoli, died last year.
Surviving is his brother, U. S. District Judge Alfonso J. Zirpoli of San Francisco.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony’s Church in Novato, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin. Visitation will be at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
The family has asked that memorial gifts go to St. Anthony’s Church or the Italian Welfare Agency of San Francisco.
