Walter B. Hunter, the only son of W. J. Hunter, superintendent of the northern division of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad Company and formerly of this division, was instantly killed by lightning and two others were rendered unconscious while playing golf on the Stockton Golf and Country Club links, three miles from Stockton on Sunday.
