ROSEMARY LARA
Rosemary O. Lara, 53, of Fairfax, a homemaker, died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Lara was the wife of Florial Lara, a draftsman and construction inspector for H. J. Degenkolb of San Francisco.
She was a member of St. Rita’s Church Catholic Daughters. She was a native of Kansas City, Mo., who had lived in Marin for 21 years and California for 38 years.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Nancy Ann Crawford of San Francisco and Carol Sue Lara of Fairfax; and a brother, Hector John Ornelas of New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Rita’s Church, Fairfax. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
