Woman Dies Suddenly At Court House

Mrs. Lena Miller, wife of Stephen A. Miller, former San Quentin guard, and now residing in Mill Valley, passed away suddenly at the Court House last Thursday as she was about to be removed to a sanitarium.

Mrs. Miller had been suffering from dropsy for many months and had attained the weight of about 400 pounds. Her illness had affected her mentality and she was taken to the court house for the purpose of submitting to an examination by the Sanity Commission. The remains were removed by the F. E. Sawyer Company to Oakland for cremation. She was the mother of Mrs. G. D. Peasley and was a native of Florida.
