EDDY E. LeCLAIR
Services for Eddy E. LeClair, a 32-year resident of Marin and a seaman for more than 50 years, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
LeClair, 77, died Monday at a San Francisco hospital after a three-year illness.
He was born in Gorham, N.H. He retired in 1944 after 25 years in the Navy. He then joined the Merchant Marines and worked for many companies, including Matson Steamship Lines and Pacific Far East Lines. He retired in 1971.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly A. LeClair; a son, Paul A. LeClair of San Anselmo; a daughter, Gladys Poarch of Los Angeles; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
LeClair was a member of Fleet Reserve Association 254 of San Rafael and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tamalpais Post 72.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. today at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
