Pioneer Resident Dies At Petaluma

Many Marin county relatives were grieved over t he death Tuesday in Petaluma of Paul A. Dado, prominent pioneer resident of t he north of the bay section.

He had been ill for some time at his home in Petaluma, and last Saturday submitted to an operation in the hope of prolonging his life. His advanced age and weakened physical condition precluded his chance for recovery and he passed away early Tuesday morning at the Hillside Hospital. He was a native of Switzerland and 83 years of age.

He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Carolina Dado, and was the father of Silvio Dado, Mrs. F. Casarotti, Mrs. A. Bettinelli, Mrs. A. Garzoli, Mrs. S. Fambonini, Mrs. J. Garzoli, Mrs. E. Mossi and Mrs. P. G. Bloom.

The funeral was held at 9:30 o’clock this morning from St. Vincent’s church and interment was in Calvary cemetery, Petaluma. In his long life the deceased had made and retained the friendship of host of acquaintances who mourn his passing.
