WALTER N. GOLDMAN
Walter Goldman, 67, of San Rafael, a retired operator of a wholesale furniture business in San Francisco, died Sunday at a local hospital after an illness.
Goldman had worked one day a week at Casa Marin Home Furnishers, San Rafael, until his illness.
Goldman was a member of the San Rafael Elks Lodge, International Domino Association of San Francisco, Quarter Century Floor Covering of San Francisco and the Marin County Club.
He was born in China but moved to the Unites States at a young age. He had been a resident of Marian for about 28 years and previously was a longtime resident of San Francisco.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Kathryn Goldman, of San Rafael; a daughter, Lisa Anderson of Petaluma; a son, Michael Goldman of Fairfax; and a brother, Arthur Goldman of Hillsborough.
A private family service was held Sunday at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael. Inurnment was at Bahia Valley Memorial Park, Novato. The family prefers that memorial contributions be to a favorite charity.
