Services Held For Mrs. Mary Borello
Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Mary Borello, wife of Salvatore E. Borello, of Fairfax, and mother of Louis S. Borello, Deputy District Attorney, who passed away at her home last Friday.
Death was unexpected. Mrs. Borello had been ill for several days with an attack of pneumonia, but she was believed to be making satisfactory progress toward recovery when a relapse occurred and she quietly passed away.
The deceased was well known and had a host of friends attracted to her in her long residence in Fairfax. Her husband for many yeas has conducted a popular restaurant on Butterfield Road, the place enjoying a large patronage of Marin county and San Francisco residents.
The funeral rites were conducted at St. Anselm’s Church at 9:30 Monday morning, when a requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Cantwell.
Burial was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company, San Rafael.
