Guard Dies From Heart Failure

Funeral services were held last Friday at Napa for Manuel C. Feliz, 63, a guard at San Quentin prison who died recently, on the penitentiary reservation.

Feliz returned from a card party on the reservation, and probably because he was unable to sleep, he arose in the middle of the night. His wife heard him fall, and he died shortly afterwards from heart failure.
