CORA E. DA SILVA
Private funeral for Cora E. Da Silva, a former San Rafael resident, was held today in Santa Rosa.
Mrs. Da Silva, 74, died Sunday at her home in Santa Rosa after a short illness.
Mrs. Da Silva was born and reared in Clementson, Minn., and moved to San Rafael in 1930. She and her husband, Alvara F. E. Da Silva, retired to Santa Rosa in 1967.
Mrs. Da Silva was past state chaplain of the Eagles Auxiliary and past Noble Grand of the Rebekah’s Lodge of San Rafael.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Alvara Da Silva of Oroville; a daughter, Dolores M. May of Whittier, and six grandchildren.
Private inurnment was at Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
