A joint memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Sorenson Funeral Home in Petaluma for Himmy T. and Priscilla J. Silver and their daughter Jill Silver Davis.
The Petaluma couple and their Kentfield daughter were killed Sunday night in an airplane crash in Petaluma.
Silver, 53, was born in Manhattan and moved to Penngrove as a three-year-old where his parents operated a poultry ranch. He also worked on the ranch and later served in the Army during World War II.
Silver was a graduate of Petaluma High School and Santa Rosa Junior College. He had worked as a car salesman in Los Angeles and later returned to Petaluma where he and his wife operated a restaurant.
Most recently, he was a partner in the Miraclean Maintenance Supply Co. of Petaluma. He also was an author and had written mystery novels and biographies.
Mrs. Silver, 50, was born in San Francisco and was reared in San Rafael. She was a graduate of San Rafael High School and the College of Marin. She had worked in San Francisco as a secretary and was currently bookkeeper for the family business.
Mr. and Mrs. Silver had been married for 32 years. They were members of Marriage Encounter and the Angela Center of Santa Rosa.
Mrs. Davis, 24, was born and reared in Petaluma. She was a graduate of Petaluma High School and the College of Marin. She was employed as a secretary.
The Silvers are survived by two sons, Paul Silver of Petaluma and Jack Silver of Sebastopol; another daughter, Laurie Ruch of Santa Rosa; and nine grandchildren.
Silver also is survived by his mother, Ali Silver; and a sister, Charlotte Goldstein, both of Petaluma. Mrs. Silver also is survived by a brother, Norman Goldstein Jr. of Oakland.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of four years, Dave Davis of Kentfield; a daughter, Sarah Jane Davis of the family home and her brothers and sisters.
Burial will be private.
