DARYA E. NETBOY

A memorial service for former Fairfax resident Darya E. Netboy has been held in Deerfield, Mass.

Darya died July 6 following a brief illness in Massachusetts. She was 8.

She was born in San Francisco and moved to Marin in 1971. She attended the Alpha School in San Rafael and studied at the Yamaha School of Music in Fairfax and the Marin Civic Ballet. She was an active member of the Marin County Rose Society before she and her family moved to Massachusetts last September.

She is survived by her parents, Dr. David and Susan Netboy of Bernardston, Mass.; a brother, Andrey; a sister, Larissa; and her grandparents, Leon and Sali Netboy of San Rafael.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the Darya E. Netboy Memorial Fund, Marin Country Day School, 5221 Paradise Drive, Corte Madera, or to the Save the Children Foundation, 50 Wilton Road, Westport, Conn., 06880.
