FRANK R. KENNEY
A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank R. Kenney Sr. of Petaluma will be offered Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Church, Petaluma.
Kenney, 80, died Sunday at a local hospital after an illness. He was born at San Quentin, where his father was a correctional officer.
Kenney spent most of his life in San Francisco and had worked as a warehouse supervisor at the Oakland Army Terminal.
Kenney and his wife, Nellie, moved to Petaluma in 1965. He was a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West and t he Independent Order of Foresters.
He also is survived by two sons, Frank Kenney Jr. of Petaluma and Ronald Kenney of Santa Rosa; a daughter, Carol Carrillo of Petaluma; two sisters, Mary Ravizza of Petaluma and Grace Driscoll of San Francisco; and six grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 p.m. today at the Sorensen Funeral Home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
