MARGARET E. DOLLWET
Margaret E. Dollwet of Novato, a Marin resident for about 50 years, died Monday at a local convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 87.
Mrs. Dollwet was born in Australia and moved to this country as a child after her parents died. She lived in New Orleans until the mid-1920s when she moved to San Francisco.
She lived there for five years before moving to Marin with her husband, Nicholas J. Dollwet. He died in the 1950s.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Whistlestop, Catholic Daughters and Goldenaires.
She is survived by three sons, Charles and Frank Drolla and Nicholas J. Dollwet; a daughter, Alice Massie; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Church, San Rafael. Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Keaton’s Mortuary.
