NELS NELSSON

Nels M. Nelsson of Mill Valley, a marine mechanic, died Monday in a local convalescent hospital. He was 83.

A native of Sweden, he moved to Sausalito 45 years ago. He worked on the ferries and on Santa Fe tugs in San Francisco Bay.

He is survived by a sister, Ida Nelsson of Alameda.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel, Mill Valley. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
