Father Of Marin Man Found Dead In Bed
John Galloway, San Francisco police officer, stationed on the water front for the past 30 years, failed to answer roll call Wednesday morning for the first time in his long years of service.
It was so unusual that Captain Herlihy sent another officer to Galloway’s hotel, the Terminal, on Market street. There being no response to the policeman’s knock, he forced his way in to find Galloway dead in bed.
The deceased was the father of Traffic Officer John Galloway of Sausalito, and he was 65 years of age. Death was due to heart trouble.
