George A. Moore Stricken Suddenly

George Allan Moore, well known retired export and import broker, of Ross, died suddenly last Sunday in his automobile while on a pleasure ride in the vicinity of Napa.

Accompanied by his son, Kenneth Moore, and a nurse who had been in attendance upon him in his convalescence from a recent illness, he was seized with a heart attack and expired suddenly. The remains were brought down from Napa to the home in Ross, from which funeral services were held at 2 o’clock this afternoon under the direction of the F. W. Sawyer Company. Burial was made in the family plot in Mt. Tamalpais cemetery here.

Immediately upon the death of his father Kenneth Moore intercepted by telegram his brother, Du Val Moore, who was en route to the Atlantic Coast. The sad news overtook the traveler at Omaha and he started on his return at once, reaching home last night.

Besides his two sons, the deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arthur D. Gussler, of Brooklyn, N. Y. His wife had preceded him in death, passing away in September of last year. He was 69 years of age.
