JOHN E. HILL
A funeral for John E. Hill, 63, of Sacramento, husband of Katherine Hill of Marin City, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel, Mill Valley.
Hill, a construction worker, drowned in the Sacramento River last week.
He was a native of Naples, Texas, and had been a resident of California since 1950.
Surviving, besides his wife, are three sons, John Hill and Cranford Hill, both of San Rafael, and Tommy Hill of Marin City; a stepson, Marion Franklin of Los Angeles; four daughters, Emma Walker and Dorothy Miller, both of Los Angeles; Rachel Holloman of Forestville, Md., and Christine Pryor of Marin City, 27 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
