F. SOLDAVINI, Aged Pioneer, Called at 82

The funeral of FRANCESCO SOLDAVINI, who passed away last Monday at his home, 531 C Street, San Rafael, was held this morning at 8:45 from the Keaton Mortuary, followed by a requiem mass at St. Raphael's Church, and interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. SOLDAVINI, a native of Italy, was 82 years of age, and had lived in this county for the past 53 years. He was 29 years old when he arrived in the United States, and soon afterwards came to San Rafael to live. He was employed for many years by the Northwestern Pacific, and when he retired, was foreman of a section crew. His wife, the late Mrs. MARIA SOLDAVINI, passed away a number of years ago.

Mr. SOLDAVINI left 2 sons, FRANK and JOSEPH SOLDAVINI, proprietors of the well known meat firm at West End, San Rafael. The grandchildren are REMO, NORMAN, ROBERT and Miss ANGIE SOLDAVINI.
