JOHN H. HALL
Funeral for John Houghton Hall, a former resident of Marin, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Redwood City. Burial will be in Skylawn Cemetery, San Mateo. The Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. today at the Redwood Chapel, Redwood City.
Hall, 33, died Saturday at his Redwood City home after a long illness. He was a native of Kentfield and had lived in San Mateo County for the past five years.
Hall was a supervisor for a wholesale wine distributor in San Francisco.
He attended the College of Marin and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalinda; a son, Jeffrey; his parents, Houghton S. and Ariana Hall of San Anselmo; and a sister, Jill A. Travis of Williams. He was the great-grandson of pioneers who arrived in Honolulu in 1835 and in San Francisco in 1850.
His family asked that memorial contributions go to the American Cancer Society or American Camelia Society, P.O. Box 1217, Fort Valley, Ga. 31030.
