Death Calls For William Crosby
William A. Crosby, for many years a guard at San Quentin prison and highly esteemed by his hosts of acquaintances, passed away at his home in San Quentin last Monday after an illness of a year.
He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Florence M. Crosby, and five children. They are William R., Frank A. and Milton I. Crosby, and Mrs. R. P. Duffy and Archie Smith.
The funeral services were held yesterday morning at Sawyer’s Parlors, with Dean Bradley officiating. Burial will be made in Martinez.
