JANE L. BEERS
Memorial services for Jane L. Beers, 79, a long-time Sausalito resident, will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley under the auspices of the Order of the Eastern Star Mill Valley Chapter No. 219.
Mrs. Beers died Wednesday at a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of Luverne, Minn., she moved to Sausalito with her husband, Leo C. Beers, in 1926. Both had been raised on farms.
Mrs. Beers, a homemaker, was a 29-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Mill Valley Chapter No. 219.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Don L. Beers of Sausalito; two sisters, Vi Henningsen and Susan Soutar, both of Luverne, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
