EZRA NYBERG
A memorial service for Ezra S. Nyberg, 87, of Santa Venetia, a retired gardener, will be held at 8 p.m. today at Santa Venetia Presbyterian Church.
Nyberg died Friday at a local convalescent hospital after an illness.
Nyberg has worked for many years as a pipemaker with a concrete pipe company in Oakland and moved to Santa Venetia about eight years ago. In recent years he was a gardener and rode about on a three-wheel bicycle hauling his tools.
He was a native of Middleburg, Lake County.
Surviving are a daughter Eileen Dubs of Santa Venetia; a son, Edward E. Nyberg of Oakland; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at the Chapel of Memories, Oakland.
