Body of Dead Man Found Near Fort Baker
A body, identified as that of John Doherty, was found at the tide gate near Fort Baker Wednesday evening about 7 p.m. by Pte. Harry Risley of Fort Baker. The coroner says that the man had been dead for about two weeks, and that he had apparently fell into a concrete post and died from injuries and exhaustion.
A card was found in the dead man’s pocket asking authorities to notify Mrs. Anna Julle, of New York city.
